
Rita J.Tino, Esq.
has practiced in the area of transactional Real Estate Law for over 35 years and has closed thousands of real estate transactions. Ms. Tino is the founder of the Law Office of Rita J. Tino, which opened in November 1999 and which concentrates on Real Estate Law, with a primary focus on residential closings. Ms. Tino’s experience includes the representation of Purchasers/Sellers in all aspects of residential and commercial real estate transactions, including the preparation and negotiation of contracts, leases and agreements. Ms. Tino was also an adjunct professor at Iona University where she taught Public Speaking and Communication.
After having served as an Assistant District Attorney for Westchester County under Hon. Carl Vergari, Ms. Tino was hired as an associate attorney with the Manhattan law firm of Bivona & Cohen where she litigated personal injury cases in Manhattan and the five boroughs. After five years in Manhattan, Ms. Tino was hired as a trial attorney with the Law Office of Thomas Bona. In 1999, she started her own practice. Ms. Tino is known to the Real Estate community as someone who prides herself in taking care of her clients with personal attention. At the Law Office of Rita J. Tino, they understand that purchasing a home for the first time can be a stressful and costly venture and their goal is to make the process easier by keeping clients well informed from contract signing through closing.
